bye bye babies...

Today my babies turned 2 months old and one would think it would be a fun and happy day but it wasn't....
they left for their new homes...the first one  2 days ago and today the other three...they all went to nice families who love and already  own other dogs so they will have a nice future but still i cant help feeling depressed and left alone....Fani feels that way too cause she sits all quiet and sad in a corner and Sissy probably feels the same cause she loved to play with them....at least we get to keep the last one of the five for 15 more days cause her mommy to be (a good friend of mine) is on her summer holidays : )

Missed me ???

i had so much to do the last couple of days that i couldnt find the time to make a new post....i didnt even do my everyday blog reading as i wanted...
we had mrB's brother over for dinner the other day and for some reason the last days i found myself cooking the whole time just for the fun of it...who knows...maybe its a flu thing or something...
i had a bit of a fight with the owners of our house...nothing special but i couldnt forget it afterwards (ofcourse i won but that's not the point)...
we had our outings...for jogging....having a beer or two (or three)....oh! and we had the great idea of ordering a pizza and eating it out in the wild just before midnight!!! spooky but also very romantic so maybe we'll make a habbit of it...
one of mrB's friend just became a father for the first time and we had to rush to the hospital to congratulate the happy couple...their baby girl is just the cutest ever and i decided to crochet a little baby snake for her room : )   (i'll be sharing when its finished)
our puppies are getting bigger and hungrier and more messy than i could ever imagine...but i love them so much that i cant get angry at them....we really need to find new families for them in the next 2 weeks...( if you live in athens or near Trikala and you can adopt one pls ask us!)
hmmm...thats most of it i guess....oh and im still practicing my embroidery skills on a new pillow case!!!

birthday puppies!

It was the puppies birthday today....just turned 1 month old !!! they've grown very quickly and are now running around all day with their chubby little feet and fat bellies....here's a little video of two of them playing...the other three are napping :)

Tote's first outing...

I'm so so proud of my tote bag that i had to make another post about it !!!!

I had some shopping to do on Friday so i thought it would be a great first for my bag....so i put my favorite sandals on and off i went...

.i bought biscuits and food for the little ones and some vegetables for us, greens, beetroot and fresh corn which i absolutely love!! I carried almost everything in my tote bag (not the pet food cause it weights 3kgr) and it was very helpful !!

Back home i played with the puppies...the get bigger and cuter everyday...they want to discover new places and keep loosing themselves around the house and then cry for help...its really funny but we have to be alert all the time so that we don't step on them accidentally...they also try to eat their mummy's food but its too early for that...so they just lick and taste it...

That's all the news from yesterday...im gonna make some roast corn now and enjoy a quiet night in...mrB went to watch football with his friends and I'll have 2 lovely hours to relax...

So i leave you for now...have a lovely weekend (whats left of it anyway) !!!

puppy love!!!!

Remember when i told you that my beloved shih tzu Fani was expecting puppies? Well the puppies came!!!!
She gave birth about three weeks ago and although i was crazy happy to share it with the whole world i kept my mouth shut cause i was afraid of something bad happening to them.
It happened on Sunday 20th of May and it was pretty upsetting cause she had trouble with the first one and for a moment i though we were going to loose her and the puppies. Lucky us we managed to find a very good vet (thanks to the internet) that helped us through the whole process by the phone!!!
Her vet is in Athens (4hours away) but we moved last year-we do travel to Athens when its checkup time cause he is amazing and i don't trust anyone else.

Anyway i helped her give birth...an amazing but at the same time quite shocking experience for me...i had to clean the first two puppies cause she was too stressed and completely ignored them and then i had to rub and shake the last one cause it wasn't breathing...after 6 hours she had 5 healthy and adorable puppies!!!!!
She got over her stress and started cleaning and breast feeding them...and the first two days were very difficult for her...she couldn't sleep at all!!!!they were crying for milk and attention without stopping!!!!!!!
She really is a caring and kind mother!!!Im very proud of her!!

Sissy was stressed too...she knew something was happening and she kept hiding in the other rooms away from the puppies.

Now....3 weeks later she is very curious and spends most of her time sniffing them and checking them out from a safe distance cause their mummy is always alert and doesn't let us play with them unattended..
These photos were taken the first two days....now they're much bigger and have opened their little eyes and oooooh....i have to go hug them....cant stay away from them for too long...hehehe..
