Το παιδικό δωμάτιο, όσο πιο απλό αντέχω.... - The babyroom...as simple as i can bear...

Αλλιώς το φανταζόμουνα...αλλιώς το υπολόγισα και αλλιώς το έφτιαξα τελικά! Πάντα έτσι κάνω, με όλα!!! Μου είναι πραγματικά αδύνατο να πάρω μια απόφαση, να διαλέξω ένα συγκεκριμένο στυλ και να το ακολουθήσω πιστά....όλο και κάτι νέο σκέφτομαι, όλο και κάτι άλλο θέλω να προσθέσω και να συνδυάσω και τελικά καταλήγω σε κάτι εντελώς διαφορετικό απ ότι αρχικά ήθελα....έτσι και με το παιδικό δωμάτιο...για άλλο χρώμα ξεκίνησα, πολύ πιο σκούρο από αυτό που τελικά χρησιμοποίησα και για ένα πολύ πιο σοφιστικέ και λιτό στυλ ήθελα να πάω αλλά τελικά νίκησε η χαζοβιολιά μέσα μου και το έκανα πιο χαρούμενο και παιχνιδιάρικο...πολύ λιτό όμως και πάλι για τα μέτρα μου (προς το παρόν).

Ακόμα φυσικά δεν είναι έτοιμο...θα μπει μοκετούλα (μάλλον) και μαξιλάρες για να έχει το αγοράκι μου να κυλιέται και να χαίρεται...και φυσικά στη πορεία η αλλαξιέρα θα μετατραπεί σε μίνι βιβλιοθηκούλα και η κούνια του σε καναπεδάκι...έτσι λέω τώρα δηλαδή, στη πορεία θα δούμε!
Πάντως είναι αρκετά άδειο ακόμα...θα μπούνε πολλά παιχνίδια που θα γεμίσουν το χώρο και σίγουρα ένα μικρό τραπεζάκι για να κάθεται να ζωγραφίζει και να παίζει...έχουμε και κουνουπιέρα την οποία τελικά δεν αξιωθήκαμε να κρεμάσουμε ποτέ και μάλλον άδικα πήραμε αφού το καλοκαίρι ο μικρός κοιμόταν δίπλα μας σε καλαθούνα και όχι στο δωμάτιό του και το βασικότερο είναι τόσο ζωηρός που αν του τη βάλω σίγουρα θα την κατεβάσει και θα τυλιχτεί με αυτή! Άκρως επικίνδυνο!!
Τα έπιπλα είναι ό,τι πιο οικονομικό βρήκα, όλα από το ΙΚΕΑ και δε το μετάνιωσα γιατί και μια χαρά του γούστου μου είναι και γερά βγήκανε.

Τα καδράκια είναι όλα δικές μου ζωγραφιές (ψώνιο ναι) καθώς και το τελάρο πάνω από την αλλαξιέρα, το οποίο είναι και ατελείωτο γιατί ακόμα δεν έχω βρει το χρόνο που θέλω να κάτσω να το τελειοποιήσω! (μπορείτε να τα δείτε όλα σε παλιότερες αναρτήσεις αν ενδιαφέρεστε). Τα δε φωτάκια...απλά χριστουγεννιάτικα, με λευκό καλώδιο και χρωματιστά λαμπάκια..ό,τι πρέπει για να φωτίζουν απαλά και γλυκά το δωμάτιο και να μη τον ξυπνάνε όταν αλλάζουμε πάνα στη μέση της νύχτας. Αξιοποίησαν και τους άσχημους σωλήνες που μας στόλισε το φυσικό αέριο χεχεχε...
Τώρα που βλέπω τις φωτογραφίες...μάλλον πρέπει να τραβήξω καινούριες...έχω κάνει κάποιες μικροαλλαγές και θέλω να τις μοιραστώ μαζί σας!

painting for a friend

Hello dear blog friends, how was your day ??? Mine was pretty nice, taking care of my little man most of the time....it's now 23.00 and im finally able to just sit and relax...mrB is at work (and wont be back for a couple of hours) and little man is sleeping in his basket...so its the perfect time for a new post !!
 tonight i wanna share with you this painting i made for a friend. I made it a few months ago while staying in my parents house waiting for the baby to be born...i had a lot of spare time back then!
I asked my friend what she would like...something pink and purple she said...flowers maybe or a simple design....and i made THIS !!!! hahahaha....im such a disaster...its not pink, its not purple (ok just a bit) and its not flowers...im such a disaster when i have to follow instructions or someone else's ideas...the only thing i came up with was a simple girl figure (supposed to be my friend) and her favorite "things" all around her...
i actually thought she'd hate it (and me) but she really loved it (or so she said) !!!! i did promise to make her another one though and i must put myself to it asap!!
 for the moment im just gonna take a shower and go to bed cause in 6 hours i'll be up doing the housework...have a lovely night everyone, see you tomorrow with this weeks favorite things! bye bye xxx

making a new painting

Hello dear friends!!!  So many things going around here these days...we started buying the baby stuff, finished painting and cleaning the room and had a car accident!!! just a few minutes from our home a very "responsible" driver thought that stop signs are not for him and we crashed right on his jeep...it wasn't our fault and there was nothing we could do to avoid him....i spent 2,5 hours in hospital just to check that the baby is ok...and thank God we're all safe....we are so lucky the airbags didn't open and the seat belts kept us unharmed...
back to happier things now, i just started making a new painting...this one for the baby room...although i wanted to have it in the living room but mrB says its way too silly !! hehehe....
in a couple of days ill have it ready and i will share a better picture with you!

Oh! im sooo happy, soooo excited!!! We finally started making the baby room...painting of course is the first thing to do and mrB is doing all the work cause i can barely move these days...
we were thinking something grey or green...blue is too common....and in the end we chose this very light and warm green/blue colour...a great contrast for all the decorations and toys that will fill the room. white would also make a great contrast but for some reason i just cant stand white walls...they feel so empty to me...although they look great on photos...

tomorrow mrB is going to paint some little details left and then a good cleaning will be my job...and its not gonna be easy...just take a look at the floor...oh mrB can be so clumsy some times...i hope some warm soap will do the job...there's paint everywhere!!!
and then..on Thursday we'll go and buy all the baby stuff needed...a crib and a dresser, curtains, photo frames and toys....i have it all planned in my head but do feel free to advice us !!!!we are not really sure whats necessary or not...

a 10-minute-painting

I made this painting while watching a movie...it only took 10 minutes and i think it looks pretty good for my living room (still cant decide which way i like it better though)....i used some old acrylics i found while cleaning the house and a small painting brush...just that...not even a drop of water!
I'm gonna buy some more canvas and make a few bright coloured paintings like this one to decorate the house...
