Δοντάκια - Little Teeth

Βγάζουμε δοντάκια! ΝΑΙ! Είναι γεγονός....εδώ και ένα μήνα ο ύπνος έχει πάει περίπατο για τα καλά και οι ήρεμες μέρες δεν είναι πλέον εξασφαλισμένες...κάθε μία!! ώρα ξυπνάμε κλαίγοντας τα βράδια από δυσφορία αλλά και άγχος αποχωρισμού σύμφωνα με την παιδίατρο κάτι που δεν είχαμε ούτε καν τις πρώτες μας μέρες!! Ήδη από 2,5 μηνών κοιμόμασταν σερί όλη τη νύχτα και ξυπνάγαμε φρέσκοι φρέσκοι και ήρεμοι στις 7-8 το πρωί...καμιά φορά και αργότερα!! Περασμένα μεγαλεία.....

Η καθημερινότητά μας πλέον περιλαμβάνει γκρίνια στο ξαφνικό, ατελείωτες ώρες από δοντάκια που τρίζουν και πολλές δόσεις από θαυματουργό ειδικό ζελεδάκι για μούδιασμα (το δοκίμασα κι εγώ και είναι πραγματικά τέλειο!!)

Το δε φοβερό της υπόθεσης είναι πως είναι πολύ νωρίς για όλα αυτά!! Μόλις κλείσαμε τον 6ο μήνα και έχουμε τα δύο κάτω μας δοντάκια έτοιμα και....τα δύο πάνω σκάσανε πριν λίγες μέρες και μεγαλώνουν σιγά σιγά!!! Αν συνεχίσουμε με τέτοιο ρυθμό τον άλλο μήνα θα μασουλάμε κανονικά το οτιδήποτε...τώρα μόνο ειδικά μπισκοτάκια (και όοοοολα μας τα παιχνίδια, ρούχα,δάχτυλα κτλ κτλ).

Τώρα κανονικά θα έπρεπε να είχα και τις ανάλογες φωτογραφίες ΑΛΛΑ επειδή έχουμε και άποψη για όλα δε δεχόμαστε να σκάσουμε χαμόγελο σε φωτογραφική και δεν υπάρχει και τίποτα να μας ξεγελάσει...το στόμα κλείνει για τα καλά και τα χειλάκια σουφρώνουν τόοοοσο σφιχτά που δεν υπάρχει καμία ελπίδα.Οπότε τη θέση της φωτογραφίας παίρνει η αντίστοιχη ζωγραφιά (μια μέρα θα με μισήσει γι αυτό,το ξέρω)...χαχαχα...

Προς το παρόν χαρούμενα δοντάκια και ήρεμα βράδια σε όλους σας (θα τα πούμε αύριο πάλι)!!! xxxxx

And YES!! we have a teething baby! (at the age of 6 months!!!)...the first 4 teeth are already showing and that means many sleepless nights and a lot of crying...i wanted to post a funny photo of the little teeth but my little mister just wont smile to the camera no matter what...so here's a drawing instead (and lets hope he wont hate me for it some day ).

Το παιδικό δωμάτιο, όσο πιο απλό αντέχω.... - The babyroom...as simple as i can bear...

Αλλιώς το φανταζόμουνα...αλλιώς το υπολόγισα και αλλιώς το έφτιαξα τελικά! Πάντα έτσι κάνω, με όλα!!! Μου είναι πραγματικά αδύνατο να πάρω μια απόφαση, να διαλέξω ένα συγκεκριμένο στυλ και να το ακολουθήσω πιστά....όλο και κάτι νέο σκέφτομαι, όλο και κάτι άλλο θέλω να προσθέσω και να συνδυάσω και τελικά καταλήγω σε κάτι εντελώς διαφορετικό απ ότι αρχικά ήθελα....έτσι και με το παιδικό δωμάτιο...για άλλο χρώμα ξεκίνησα, πολύ πιο σκούρο από αυτό που τελικά χρησιμοποίησα και για ένα πολύ πιο σοφιστικέ και λιτό στυλ ήθελα να πάω αλλά τελικά νίκησε η χαζοβιολιά μέσα μου και το έκανα πιο χαρούμενο και παιχνιδιάρικο...πολύ λιτό όμως και πάλι για τα μέτρα μου (προς το παρόν).

Ακόμα φυσικά δεν είναι έτοιμο...θα μπει μοκετούλα (μάλλον) και μαξιλάρες για να έχει το αγοράκι μου να κυλιέται και να χαίρεται...και φυσικά στη πορεία η αλλαξιέρα θα μετατραπεί σε μίνι βιβλιοθηκούλα και η κούνια του σε καναπεδάκι...έτσι λέω τώρα δηλαδή, στη πορεία θα δούμε!
Πάντως είναι αρκετά άδειο ακόμα...θα μπούνε πολλά παιχνίδια που θα γεμίσουν το χώρο και σίγουρα ένα μικρό τραπεζάκι για να κάθεται να ζωγραφίζει και να παίζει...έχουμε και κουνουπιέρα την οποία τελικά δεν αξιωθήκαμε να κρεμάσουμε ποτέ και μάλλον άδικα πήραμε αφού το καλοκαίρι ο μικρός κοιμόταν δίπλα μας σε καλαθούνα και όχι στο δωμάτιό του και το βασικότερο είναι τόσο ζωηρός που αν του τη βάλω σίγουρα θα την κατεβάσει και θα τυλιχτεί με αυτή! Άκρως επικίνδυνο!!
Τα έπιπλα είναι ό,τι πιο οικονομικό βρήκα, όλα από το ΙΚΕΑ και δε το μετάνιωσα γιατί και μια χαρά του γούστου μου είναι και γερά βγήκανε.

Τα καδράκια είναι όλα δικές μου ζωγραφιές (ψώνιο ναι) καθώς και το τελάρο πάνω από την αλλαξιέρα, το οποίο είναι και ατελείωτο γιατί ακόμα δεν έχω βρει το χρόνο που θέλω να κάτσω να το τελειοποιήσω! (μπορείτε να τα δείτε όλα σε παλιότερες αναρτήσεις αν ενδιαφέρεστε). Τα δε φωτάκια...απλά χριστουγεννιάτικα, με λευκό καλώδιο και χρωματιστά λαμπάκια..ό,τι πρέπει για να φωτίζουν απαλά και γλυκά το δωμάτιο και να μη τον ξυπνάνε όταν αλλάζουμε πάνα στη μέση της νύχτας. Αξιοποίησαν και τους άσχημους σωλήνες που μας στόλισε το φυσικό αέριο χεχεχε...
Τώρα που βλέπω τις φωτογραφίες...μάλλον πρέπει να τραβήξω καινούριες...έχω κάνει κάποιες μικροαλλαγές και θέλω να τις μοιραστώ μαζί σας!

father's day

just to say "happy father's day" to mrB ...he really loves our little man and he's going to be the best daddy in the world!!! i can see them in my mind playing together, running around like crazy and turning the house upside down and i can only smile with happiness! for the time being they spend their days hugging, kissing, laughing and going out for long "walks"...

Back Again !!!

Hello my dear friends!!! So good to be back...i've been away for so long and i feel like im starting all over again...
we have a new family member now, our lovely baby boy and we're happier than ever, everything has changed and everything has a new meaning now. I no longer have free time for my hobbies but i do have many new ideas so i'll do my best to find some even if it means less sleep!!!(and sleeping hours are so precious right now hehehe)....
i now have to go and do my daily routine (clean the house, feed the baby, do the laundry,....) but i'll be here first thing tomorrow morning with a quick flashback to the past few months.

expecting...

Well i think the drawing says it all.... we're expecting our first baby and cant even tell how happy we are!!!
This is what i meant when i talked about health issues...we didn't want to talk about it too soon.
The first 3 months were a disaster....i couldn't do anything....i felt exhausted all of the time and just wanted to sleep...that's the reason i didn't post anything and didn't read any of my favorite blogs...
But now i feel a lot better and im gonna make up for it....at least i will try to cause i have so many things to do .... starting tomorrow we decided to redecorate the house and change the colours of the walls...its so boring and old as it is...and after that we have to buy the baby stuff and all....i just cant wait !!!!
I also have to travel a lot cause my doctor is in Athens - 4,5 hours from were we live. In 10 days i have my "big" ultrasound and we're gonna check that everything is ok with the baby and im really nervous about that one...till then i try and just be happy and possitive about the whole thing.
So now you know.... :)
do have a lovely rest of the weekend and if you have any advice to give us about the whole baby thing please do...we'd really appreciate it.. xxx

Greek summer drawing

3 months old !!!

Its been 3 months since my first post and i have more views and followers than i expected and i  want to THANK ALL OF YOU for your support and your kind comments ...i read all of them carefully and answer via email as soon as i can.
I'm pretty new to the blog world and there are so many things i have trouble with or i don't know at all but i try to learn something new everyday...i search for blog tips and read as many blog posts as i can....

today i started reading about photography. To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed with my photos...they seem to be too dark and do no justice to my crafts...i hope that i will get better in time, i found some very interesting tips about lighting and presentation and i will try to follow them ...

As you can see i made some small changes to the blog ... nothing too much but i think it looks better this way..brighter and bigger...a lot happier...what do you think???? i cant wait to read your thoughts on this...!!

warm weekend drawings

It was a very hot weekend with temperatures up to 37C. Yes, summer is definitely here for good and all i can think of is sunny beaches, cold beer and ouzo in small traditional taverns, summer food, chill out music in small island bars.....i can go on forever!!!!
Instead i spent most of my time doing housework, playing with our puppies and trying to keep cool by drinking lots of ice tea!!! Im trying to loose some weight and i drink green tea all the time to keep me away from food....and i also started to walk 3-4 km a day along with mrB. We go to the park, walk our rounds and then do some stretching, its not much but i was never into exercising (i find it very boring) so i try and force myself not to give up.
On Sunday i took out my coloured pencils and did some drawing to help me relax...nothing special but i hope you like them :)

i like to draw simple pictures as if a kid would draw them...im not trying to do anything too much or too artistic...just drawing for the fun of it.
I have to go to the supermarket now, so im gonna leave you...have a GREAT WEEK and BE HAPPY!!!xxx
