a busy day...

guess who had a little accident....

It was one of those crazy days...too much to do and so little time...the sun was shining so we took the little ones for a looooong walk away from the city. 2 full hours of running around like crazy, they made some new doggie friends, smell all sort of flowers and my darling Fanny decided to chase a frog...nothing good came from this. she ended falling in a small pond (which was not very clean). i didnt have the heart to yell at her...i just stood there laughing. So back home doggie baths were also added to the day schedule. The house was a real mess. i had cooking, washing, laundry and ironing and many other things to do plus we were expecting guests and i had to dye the easter eggs before midnight (this year i decided to keep them simple, just red dye with no decorations).
Still i managed to do some crocheting inbetween, mrs snakes is becoming an obsession.

easter is almost here !

the bunnies found their place in the living room along with a few easter eggs and the rest few decorations stayed in the kitchen...i just love how they look in front of the orange walls..and i especially love the little chicks, they are super cute and remind my of my childhood for some reason.

bunnies and stuff

its been a long day today...tidying up and cleaning the house, i went to the market to buy fresh vegetables and fruit. i also bought two beautifull geraniums (one red and one purple) and a honeysuckle plant named lonicera caprifolium. its a climper and if i dont kill it it will grow big all over the place with lovely flowers of two different colors ! the market was full of all kinds of flowers and i just couldnt resist.

back home after doing all the boring everyday stuff i spent time measuring the fabric for the second curtain and sewing the first bits. i also took out some easter decorations. not too many, im sure i had more but after moving houses im always missing stuff. so a couple of bunnies, chicks and a few easter eggs are all i could find. i have them all over the kitchen table waiting to find where to place them.
