οι μέρες που πέρασαν...

Καλό μήνα σε όλους (έστω και καθυστερημένα) !!!!!

Ο Οκτώβρης αποδείχτηκε αρκετά κουραστικός τελικά αλλά και γεμάτος υπέροχες στιγμές....
ο "μπαμπάς" μας είχε τα γενέθλιά του (33 το καμάρι μου) και ΕΠΡΕΠΕ να του φτιάξουμε το γλυκάκι του όπως κάθε χρόνο....φέτος μια πανεύκολη τούρτα- κέικ την οποία εξαφανίσαμε σε ένα βράδυ....
αυτό το μήνα μάλιστα για κάποιο λόγο όλο και κάποιο γλυκό ήθελα να φτιάχνω ή κάτι διαφορετικό για να τρώμε οπότε μπουχτίσαμε στα κεκάκια και τα αλμυρά ταρτάκια (μεταξύ άλλων).

ο "μπεμπούλης" είχε κι αυτός τα δικά του γενέθλια - όπως κάθε μήνα προς το παρόν - έγινε 7 μηνών (η αγάπη μου) !!! Πραγματικά είναι απίστευτο το πόσο γρήγορα περνάει ο καιρός και το πόσο αλλάζει κάθε μέρα που περνάει...στα 5,5 αποφάσισε να μπουσουλήσει (τώρα το έχει για πλάκα) και τώρα στα 7 σηκώνεται όρθιος και προσπαθεί να περπατήσει...για την ακρίβεια πιάνεται απ΄όπου βρει και μπορεί και κατεβάζει στο πάτωμα ό,τι πιάσουν τα χεράκια του...όσο κι αν ήθελα να το αποφύγω θα αναγκαστώ να διακοσμήσω από την αρχή όλο το σπίτι εξαφανίζοντας οτιδήποτε σπάει και μασιέται...επίσης φωνάζει χαρούμενος κάθε φορά που του αρέσει κάτι ή καταφέρνει μια αταξία και τσιρίζει δυνατά όλο ενθουσιασμό όποτε χαϊδέψει κάποια από τις μικρές...τέτοιο είναι το παιδί μου!!! χαχαχα...

κατά τα άλλα επικρατεί χαμός στο σπίτι με στοίβες από ρούχα παντού που περιμένουν σιδέρωμα...πιάτα για πλύσιμο - πραγματικά πιστεύω πως πολλαπλασιάζονται μόνα τους στο νεροχύτη...και αμέτρητες ώρες χαμένου ύπνου...ειλικρινά ποτέ δε πίστευα μπορώ να αντέξω τόσο καιρό με τόσα ξενύχτια!!!ο δε μικρός δε δείχνει καμία απολύτως διάθεση να αρχίσει να κοιμάται λίγο παραπάνω και να μη ξυπνάει με το παραμικρό....και δεν είναι ότι απλά ξυπνάει αλλά σηκώνεται όρθιος στη κούνια και φωνάζει! χαχαχα...στις καλές περιπτώσεις...στις άλλες απλά γυρνάει μπρούμυτα και κλαίει απαρηγόρητος μέχρι να τον πάρω αγκαλιά (αμέσως τον παίρνω αλλά λέμε τώρα)...

η πόλη έχει φορέσει τα φθινοπωρινά της χρώματα και είναι πολύ όμορφα..κάθε μέρα κάνουμε τις βόλτες μας στο ποτάμι και στα μαγαζιά και ανυπομονούμε να στολιστεί για τα χριστούγεννα!!! ήδη μετράω μέρες ως το τέλος του μήνα που θα στολίσω το σπίτι και μάλιστα δεν κρατήθηκα και αγόρασα μερικά στολιδάκια για το δέντρο (και να δω που θα χωρέσουν)...χώρια αυτά που θέλω και ελπίζω να βρω χρόνο για να φτιάξω...και τώρα που το έφερε η κουβέντα εννοείται πως το πλέξιμο δεν έχει σταματήσει απλά γίνεται με πολύυυυυυ αργούς ρυθμούς και μόνο τις μεταμεσονύκτιες ώρες που κοιμάται ο μικρός...αυτή τη στιγμή πλέκω 3 πράγματα ταυτόχρονα...μια ζακέτα του μικρού για τις  κρύες νύχτες του χειμώνα και δύο δωράκια που θα ταξιδέψουν εκτός Ελλάδας  :)

αυτά περίπου κάναμε τις μέρες που πέρασαν καθώς και μια μικρή ανανέωση στο σπίτι για την οποία θα σας πω τις επόμενες μέρες!!

father's day

just to say "happy father's day" to mrB ...he really loves our little man and he's going to be the best daddy in the world!!! i can see them in my mind playing together, running around like crazy and turning the house upside down and i can only smile with happiness! for the time being they spend their days hugging, kissing, laughing and going out for long "walks"...

im sure we all feel the same way about our men and of course our own fathers...so best wishes to all of them, WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

winter takes and some resolutions

Its freezing cold these days and we're trying to keep warm as much as we can...staying inside is the best way but the winter colours are so lovely that really capture your heart...impossible to resist a quick walk by the river...
back home drinking tea and sitting right next to the heater is all we can do...unfortunately we don't have a fire place...
all covered with warm clothes and blankets i crochet most of the time...then draw a little and make plans...plans in my head about the baby room and stuff...what we need to buy..what we have to fix...and with all that come a few new year resolutions...
1. be a good mum....it all seems so difficult and new to me but i promise myself to do the best i can for my baby!!! of course i am already a "mum" of three....my two little dogies and my lovely mrB that seems to act more like a 13year old   :p
2. organize my time as best as i can....wake up early in the morning and go to bed as a normal person and not at 4 in the morning.....this will help me keep up with the housework and my hobbies without running around like crazy...
3. more walks for me and the little ones....we do need to get out more,not minding the bad weather...
4. make more blog posts.....this means more photos...and hopefully better ones as well !!!
5. do something for myself...i do need to spoil myself in some way cause last year was somehow a disaster...i struggled with depression most of the time (im still not over it) and couldn't feel really happy with anything...so learning new things, keeping up with as many hobbies as i can and getting out more will do the trick i think. im planning to start running again - after the baby comes and when my body feels ready - maybe go to a gym or a dance class and maybe learn a new language...so many things on my mind...i wish ill have the time for some...
of course these are not my only resolutions for 2013....there are so many more things i want to do or change that it would take me hours and hours to write them down...i just think these are the most important ones.

a lovely outing and a new "friend" !!!

MrB had the day off so we decided to take the little ones on a small trip and visit some nearby villages. We packed a few snacks, a couple of beers and some cola drink and headed to the base of Koziakas mountain. And there, on the top of a hill...we found a lovely small playground...just the perfect place for us to sit and relax with the little ones running around happily. It was a small break from our daily routine and we really really needed it....
back home...i have a few "arrivals" to share with you and the one i'm happier with is my first ever sewing machine !!! Yes!! I finally got my hands on one and i cant wait to use it....but first i have to  find out how it works...hehehe...

i bought it a few days ago and i think it was a good deal...just 80euros and with a 3 year guarantee. The manual says it has 33 stitches, button holes and buttons....and i believe that its more than enough for the money i paid....and to be honest i didn't want to spend more cause I've never used a sewing machine in my life and i don't know if im gonna like it or not. I think its perfect for a beginner. I still haven't tried it...im just reading the manual and searching for tutorials on youtube so i would be more than grateful for any tips or suggestions you may have !!! Cant wait to hear your opinion on that!

a beautiful place part1

Outside the city of Trikala....just a 10 minute drive...a magical place...a river, an old stone bridge and many many trees...this is the place we love to go and just sit under the huge trees and relax while listening to the sound of the water and the happy songs of birds and...toads !!! Its also a great place to visit when it gets very hot in the city. Enjoy !

you may notice the dark thingy on the right-corner of my photos...well there's something wrong with my camera and the lense protection started to move for no reason at all. after i took the photos it completely shut and i still cant get it to open...i charged the battery..moved it with my finger...opened the camera front and cleaned it carefully but nothing works...i can only move it with my finger and if i zoom in immediately only then it will stay open. its very upsetting since its not an old camera or a cheap one...

a very hot summer day in Greece today so we just had to go for a swim....
